“Even in great pain, faced with the test of their lives, they had the ability to step-outside their own pain, put aside their own fear and ask: How can I help the guy next to me?  They had more than ‘fist’ of courage and physical strength.  They also had a heart large enough to think about others, to dedicate themselves to a higher Purpose.[i]

  3. We don’t have many heroes these days. I live in a military town so I see them, and I thank God and anyone else that is up there please taking care of our fallen. But we do have a special few that move mountains. We don’t need to know their names or faces. They are just there when we need them.

Thank you for the post. I use to tell my team the same thing, “The only easy day was yesterday!” The SEALs have left us a tremendous legacy of courage/commitment, honor, and love to country. We’re very proud of our warriors!
